The MX100 has been designed to be heard but not necessarily seen. It’s well suited to be installed in a hidden or out-of-the-way A/V equipment rack. It has rack-friendly 2U physical dimensions and rack mounting brackets to facilitate installation (the mounting brackets are removable for non-rack installations). Not limited to just rack installation, it also looks and works well when placed out in the open for all to see and enjoy.

MI347 7-Channel Digital Amp
The MI347 7-Channel Digital Amplifier is a dedicated home theater amplifier that delivers an immersive sonic experience that provides a heart-stopping, edge-of-your-seat audio experience in the comfort of your home theater. It uses highly sophisticated closed loop digital switching amplifiers that are paired with extremely robust power supplies that produce audio performance levels rarely heard in home theaters.

Meant to be heard more than seen – such as being installed in an out-of-sight A/V equipment rack, the MI347 has a simplified and understated exterior. But rest assured that the internal circuitry and components have received the full attention of the McIntosh engineers to make you feel like you are part of your favorite movies. With its rack-friendly 3U height, it can easily be installed in your A/V rack via the included rack mounting brackets (the mounting brackets are removable for non-rack installations). MA352 Integrated Amp
The MA352 Integrated Amplifier is a hybrid design that combines the finest of vacuum tube and solid state audio design principles. The result is an eye-catching amplifier that enjoys the best of these two opposing audio philosophies all while reproducing music at the highest quality level.

An all analog design, the MA352 has a vacuum tube preamplifier section that is powered by a pair of 12AX7A and a pair of 12AT7 vacuum tubes; its output stage is a direct coupled solid state amplifier that outputs 200 Watts per channel into 8 Ohm speakers or 320 Watts per channel into 4 Ohm speakers – enough power to properly drive virtually any set of loudspeakers. Dual scale blue Watt meters give an accurate readout of power output for both speaker impedances.
The MA352 has 2 balanced and 3 unbalanced inputs plus 1 Moving Magnet phono input with adjustable loading for connecting a turntable. It has gold-plated speaker binding posts to help prevent corrosion and ensure a quality signal is sent over your speaker cables to your speakers. A stereo preamplifier output is available for connecting a higher-powered amplifier; it can also be used to connect 1 or 2 powered subwoofers for added low frequency performance.

MC257 Power Amp

The MC257 is highlighted by the new eye-catching TripleView™ Power Output Meter. While a totally new design, each of the three pointers in the TripleView meter have the same inviting motion that McIntosh meters are known for and perform at the same high level as any of our meters. The captivating look and glow of the TripleView meter is sure to be a conversation starter, but its trademarked blue lighting can be turned off so as not to compete with your TV or movie screen.

In addition to the new TripleView meter, the MC257 features many other upgrades. When using just the front left, center and right channels, power output has been increased by 25% from 200 Watts per channel to 250 Watts per channel. When using all 7 channels, each will receive a healthy 200 Watts per channel. Regardless of how many channels are used, the full 200 or 250 Watts is delivered to either 4 or 8 Ohm speakers via our Dynamic Power Manager® (DPM) technology. Filter capacity has been increased by 20% which has produced an amazing 94% increase in dynamic headroom from 1.7dB to 3.3dB as well as improving low frequency performance – both key features in a home theater amplifier, especially when listening to an energetic soundtrack.
